Last year while cruising the Bay of Islands, we were inspired to make a little how-to on exercising on a monohull but felt it was a little silly to post. After all, who wants to really see me bouncing around on the bow saying, “and one and two and three and four and…”?! Well, to my surprise, someone does.
We’ve had loads of questions on staying in shape while at sea and to be honest, as I mentioned in our last post, it was something I searched quite a bit before we headed off. We’re back in the Bay of Islands and perhaps the locale ignited a bit of motivation to share our video from last year.
This downloadable BODYWEIGHT FULL BODY Boat Workout can be done just about anywhere. It requires no equipment, however, if you’d like to add a little umpfh to your circuit, go ahead and grab some resistance bands if you have them, cans of tomatoes, wine bottles (I know you’ve got those!) or maybe even a dive belt or tool bag.
